JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Department Head for the GMP laboratory within QC, you are responsible for the daily operations and ensuring that the business meets applicable GMP requirements. The GMP laboratory is a separate part of QC and currently consists of five employees who work with analyses related to products for the pharmaceutical industry, including both routine analyses and implementation of new methods.

In this role, you lead and develop the laboratory's work by planning and distributing analyses, following up on results, and ensuring that both processes and working methods maintain high quality. You have a central role in quality assurance work and are responsible for ensuring that analyses are performed correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with GMP. As department head, you have full personnel responsibility.

The laboratory works with a wide range of analytical methods, from simpler wet chemical analyses to advanced chromatographic systems. The analyses focus on both contaminants and the composition of the final product, and quality assurance is of great importance.

In addition to personnel responsibility, you are a central contact point for internal stakeholders and collaborate closely with other functions, such as GMP specialists and Technical Product Managers.

* Have a post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as chemistry/chemical engineering

* Bring work experience in quality assurance

* Have solid experience working in a GMP-certified laboratory

* Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English, as this is required in daily operations
